Due to COVID-19 and our need to practice social distancing, the 2020 Summer Reading Program will look a bit different this year. We’ve been working hard to re-imagine the program and ensure that each child, teen, and adult can participate in fun ways that are safe for both our patrons and staff.

The library building will remain closed to the public until further notice, but will continue our Curbside Pickup service to provide you with books and movies so you can enjoy our brand new Summer Reading Program this year.

How does it work?

Everyone can participate! New and current members of the Agnes Robinson Waterloo Public Library can participate in our Summer Reading Program. Not a member yet? It’s free – sign up here. Then…

1. Reserve and pick up your packet.

Call 402-779-4171 or complete this form to reserve a Summer Reading packet for each child or teen participating. Tell us when you want to pick it up and it will be waiting on a cart under the Summer Reading Canopy with your name on it.

2. Complete and return your registration.

Fill out the paper form in your packet (p. 6). Seal it in an envelope, and drop it off in the return box under the Summer Reading canopy at the library anytime before Wednesday, July 15.

3. Start reading and tracking your minutes.

Kids can begin reading and tracking reading minutes on the reading logs included in the Summer Reading packet, starting on page 26! Teens and adults can begin the BINGO challenge on pages 14-15.
