DESCRIPTION Every Tuesday is LEGO CLUB! Join us on Tuesdays to complete building challenges or free build. All ages welcome! We have Mega Bloks available for pre-school & younger aged children.

EVENT Storytime
DESCRIPTION Join us on Thursday mornings for picture book adventures. Afterwards you can enjoy a snack and an activity. All ages welcome – books are geared toward toddlers.

September 1 – November 30 – 2026 Library Fall Crawl
September 1, we kick off the 2026 Fall Crawl and invite YOU + your friends and family to visit libraries across Nebraska. More than 100+ libraries are participating. Those who visit 10+ libraries get entered into a grand prize drawing and all who visit 30+ libraries get an exclusive 2026 Fall Crawl Tote bag. Pick-up your booklet at the library starting September 1!

September 10, 6 – 8 pm
EVENT Puzzle Race
AGES Anyone who is interested in a 500 piece puzzle
DESCRIPTION The ARWPLibrary is excited to host our third Puzzle Race! We’re looking for 7 teams to compete, so grab your friends and put together a group of 2–4 players to join the fun. Each team will race against the clock to complete a 500-piece puzzle in 2 hours. To register, just call, email, or send us a Facebook message with your team’s names.👉 Don’t have a team? No problem! Let us know and we’ll help place you with other puzzle enthusiasts.

EVENT Patron Appreciation Day!
DESCRIPTION To say thanks to all of our amazing patrons, we are hosting Patron Appreciation Day! Stop by the library anytime 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM and get your free bag of popcorn!

EVENT Library Board of Trustees
DESCRIPTION The Library Board of Trustees is made up of 5-6 individuals who reside in Waterloo. The board meets regularly on the 1st Monday of every other month, unless otherwise posted. All meetings are open to the public. If you’re interested in joining the board, please contact the library for more information.

EVENT Cat Week
DESCRIPTION Are you a cat lover?! So are we, join us for a week filled with Cat themed programs and activities.
All week you can enjoy a Cat Scavenger Hunt & Cat themed craft.
Tuesday – Cat Themed LEGO Club Challenge
Wednesday – Cat Themed STREAM Stations 4:00 – 4:45 PM.
Thursday – Cat Themed Storytime
Saturday – Cat Cafe with Felius Cat Rescue! 9:30 – 1:00 PM
Felius is back for a 3rd time! Come play with adoptable kittens and enjoy some coffee. There’s no pressure to adopt, but if you’re interested, you can pre-apply on Felius’s website (link here). Open to ages 6 years and older.

EVENT Crafternoon: Beaded Bag Charms
AGES Adults & Teens
DESCRIPTION Adults and teens interested in crafting and/or socializing are welcome. This month our craft with be beaded bag charms. RSVPs to a librarian are requested but not required.

EVENT Senior Coffee
DESCRIPTION Stop by the library for free coffee, treats, & conversation on the last Saturday of every month. Open to all over 55.

EVENT Pokémon Club
DESCRIPTION Join a community of Pokémon fans with Pokémon Club, tailored for school age Pokémon fans. Pokémon Club attendees can learn, play, and connect through the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and other activities. Beginners welcome. No registration necessary.
